fresh muesli

This is the best thing to have for breakfast in the summer when there's loads of beautiful fresh fruit around.

I don't pretend to be an expert on these matters, but I should imagine it's ridiculously healthy too.

Serving 2-3

1 mug oats
4 dates, finely chopped
1 banana, sliced
1 orange, chopped
1 tsp maple syrup
1 nectarine, chopped

Put the oats, dates and maple syrup in a bowl. Add enough cold water to well cover, stir. Leave to soak for a couple of hours, or overnight.

when the oats are ready add the chopped fresh fruit, mix and serve.

Use any combination of fresh and dry fruit you wish.
